I was taking to a dude who runs hpa he said it's probably the rockwool being too wet without much root mass. So give more drying out time intervals. It looks the same so I topped it to see if the new growth would do the same. I'll keep you posted. I'm thinking it's more humidity than heat.
Anyone ever seen this (see picture) it started this morning. This is a ninja fruit. Not quite sure what's wrong with it. I am having low humidity 36%-40% and 80°-85° temps. Full hpa system. Veg bloom nutes with extra cal mag+ silica and enzymes. pH between 5.8 to 6.0, ec 1.7- 2.0 Citizen clu048...
Yeah it's better than buying a new light when everything but the leds shit out. The big thing for me was the case. I hate when I build a cob set up it's not enclosed in something. Makes me nervous to touch and shit.
I'm gonna use it for a me build so I don't have to buy a driver for leds I have sitting around. I bought some of those 58w citizens of eBay that 5 for 40 set. Wanna see if those are any good bc I love my clu048 in a part build I did
@HideousPenguinBoy Well it didn't go well. First we had a pH flux that was causing problems with the mothers bc our pH meter although calibrated was off. Idk how. Two bluelabs meters one a hand pen the other the combo meter. The combo meter was off compared to the handheld by .2 points even...
So on the other note you think cobs would be the better choice even for a really tight low pro set up? Like say the clu038 1212. Some British supply sells them at ~$50 for 5.
We did because the cost value. I've built a clu048 kit from northern grow lights. The problem is coverage bc we're only dealing with 1.5 ft of clearance. This is a very low pro grow and I was afraid of having to buy a shit ton of cobs to cover. I'm building it for a friend so I may have fucked...
I'll get you a not elaborate picture and explanation but at the moment here's the short. We're doing a 16"x72" custom table. 2 tier and I'm trying to do 6 3"x14" heat sinks. Each heat sink will have 7 xpg (not 3) so 7x6 is my 42 with uv and ir thrown in to add. These are for flower only. Using...
I see we have people answering questions and I got one. I'm wiring in series 42 cree xpg 5 watt with 2 ir 5w and 2 uv 3w on a HLG-185H-C700B. Now that's running everything at a pretty maxed out wattage. I think if I did the math it was 4.6 watts each.
I want to throw a small low wattage citizen...
