Grow healthy plants. It’s mostly genetic that decides bud size and structure. Yes once you learn a plant you can maximize its potential and get things dialed, but the special formula is to keep them healthy, happy and thriving.

Dude I’ve popped some 30 year old seeds with this tried and true recipe. Sand paper them lightly and scuff them to penetrate the shell. Then get some holy water and a shot glass. Works 60% of the time every time.

Ya I scuffed mine (DQ) with some 150 sand paper and got 13/14 to crack. Anytime with older seeds it’s not bad idea to help give them a head start.

The best machine is the one where you put your thumb and fingers on different sides with your right hand squeeze them together over and over manipulating the sharp edges around the buds taking only the leaf. It trims them up great. Best machine around.
