Hey man, I'm just about to gut my PC to start a PC grow op too, and was wondering what type of reflective material you used to line the inside, and was wondering why you didn't use all of the inside for the grow, also; did you use CFL's during the whole veg/flower process?

Hello, ive looked at your grows and they are just amazing. I'd like to make a nice stealth pc grow like yours but none of my current cases would work. Also a new pc case wouldnt go unnoticed in my house( since i live with my parents) most people would say just don't grow till you move out. The thing is i don't grow for yield i barely smoke and i can easily afford weed. I grow for fun, it's a really interesting hobby for me it gives me a rush. I have a current place indoors i could gtow it is only like 15" tall though and a small cord can be noticed it you dig around behind my bed. I messed up my first outdoor grow so its too late to start another outdoors. In the meantime i started a seed outdoors today until i find a place to put it. I just wanted to know of any alternatives you can think of that can help me grow.

Hey man, I'm preparing for my first grow which will be in a PC case for stealth but I need to know how big the case needs to be, I'm watching a case on eBay which is W200xh420xD540, will this be big enough? How big is your case? Thanks for the inspiration!

there should be 42 watts CFL where you are... they're pretty standard bulbs now...

I think i remembered reading in your thread that you got your bulbs from walmart so i guessing you from america or something We don't have a walmart here and i am struggling to find the bulbs that you used.could you just type your bulb model numbers in google on the uk setting and see if anything comes up please,if it is too much trouble i understand i just struggling to find them bulbs and really want to start getting my grow started.all i can find bulb wise over here that seems ok is the envirolites.thanks for the help in advance and if you ain't got time i understand and no worries.

Red is the 12V and black is the ground. You can rip them off the connector and plug the wires directly. It's not dangerous for fire or shocks... it's only 12v.

Thanks for your response mate.I know what you mean about the 12v power adapter but the trouble is i not sure about the connections that come off the fan.Not sure if it is because its the fans that come with the case or all fans are like that but if you look under your mypccase album photo no 10 you will see the red and black wires that go into the white box with 4 pins well thats what i got on mine and dont know what to do with them.

Sorry if i sound dumb but never really took pc's apart so aint got a clue.thanks for all the help once i get all my bits sorted i want to start asap.

I used an external hard drive power supply I bought for 5$ on ebay. But you could use any 12v power adapter you could find anywhere... you know those small black boxes you plug in the wall with most small electronics?

Firstly just got to say love your grows they are awesome.i have this case http://www.tekcomputersuk.com/thermaltake-case-soprano-vb1000bws-black-window-p-10457044.html and want to either use this or make a small wooden box.my question is how have you wired your fans as my psu has died but my case has 3 fans in that i thought would be good to use and would give me really good air flow if i used the case as it has fans on the front back and sides.can you just wire them into a 3 pin plug some how,Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello blisters i am about to attempt a first grow and i really like your concept of the case. I am going through my attic right now to go look for a case how did you get the cd drive fronts into the case and also how did you get The power supply to look real. And is it where your true power is coming in from. I get your mobo slot but other than that im lost. How do you convert a pc fan to run on outlet power. or to a normal wire just splice????
