im guessing you have never ran coco with multiple feeds....its quite astounding. i do feed till slight runoff everytime, and within a few hours its ready to be fed again....this wouldnt work in 5 gallon pots or anything large as the medium doesnt have enough time to dry out before the next...

mind you, they are in 2 gal smarties and fed 3 times a day. they are usually fairly dry within a couple hours, so 2 days without water was quite a lengthy period for them.
