On topic,
With an autoflower, you are not in control of when it will flower. It flowers in it's own time. So 12/12 will flower the same time as 24hrs of lights on.
Some growers say that 18/6 to 20/4 for autoflowers will give you max yield and potency because it gives the plant time to rest.
Weed is dried for about 4 days and cobbed. The flower was cured for 3 months. Both were submitted for testing on the same day. I would be interesting to see a flower tested at harvest, and then it's sibling tested after a cure.
I have flower almost ready now. It's seeded but it'll have to do...
All metabolic processes continue during curing. The conversion of cannabigerol to tetrahydrocannabinol will continue and the potency will increase. The exact change in THC content is dependent on the CBG content in the fresh material at harvest. I don't know what the mechanism to move CBG to...
I grow outdoor and leaves start to turn yellow and start falling off. I suspect the plant starts cannibalizing the bottom fans to focus on the flowers. Most notable are the fantastic colors the cold brings. I love the fall harvest more than smoking I think.

Like the olden days? Hell, take it one step further, don't trim it and sell the shake.
I'm not here to crap on you, but you could use a little education from an old timer.

Have at it.

If your weed is harsh, you didn't dry and cure properly. Period.
