also, the taste and strength of the bud is dependant on the strain, so depending on what type you have will dictate how short a curing time you can get away with.

Cheaper with HPS?? Are you sure? if your using the same HID unit you can just change the bulb between MH and HPS. Retail at about £15.00. Is there a difference in running costs between the two lights? I thought not.
