Best seaweed product is probably algen extract by h&g. But its not worth the money. Nitrozime is probably second best, but still not worth the expensive price tag IMO. I started using Growmore liquid seaweed extract, cus its cheap and great. I love ES by Roots Org, Amino Aide by Soul Synthetics...

U don't need rooting hormone, though it will speed up the process a few days and have a higher success rate. What's ur rooting medium? I personally stay away from rockwool as I've have bad luck with them. I would go either rapid rooter/ root riot or similar, or directly into either coco or peat...

bob's gotta great idea but what is the most amount of plants that you want, and how much space doe you have to take up? also if you have the luxury of choosing how big of a space to use... what light do you have? from there you can figure out how big a room you can have to maximize light...

do you only have one? or are there multiple 20w tubes? either way you can put them as close to your babies as you want, within a couple inches preferably. but make sure to keep a close eye to make sure you dont burn the leaves...
