Well, since this is my first grow and I am only in the seedling stage, I can't give great advice. But I did cut a hole in the ceiling into the attic and ran flexible ducting to an inline 170cfm fan, I also have a 4 inch carbon filter that I'm praying will be enough for the smell. I bought some panda film to section off my grow area, its white on one side, black on the other. I am not really sure if my ventilation is gonna be adequate, I was on a tight budget and bought whatever i could afford. Only time will tell. If you can't cut holes, I dont know what to tell you. I dont have any intake into the closet because there is a nice gap under the door that allows for airflow, but adequate ventilation is neccessary for controlling heat and providing the plants with fresh air.

yo i just read that you were doing a 250w grow in a closet and had said something about your ventilation. Im going for the same size light in a somehwat smaller closet. how did you section your grow off? with plastic film? the black stuff... ? but really i just need to know about ventilation i have been reading for the past year and now its time to put my money into this grow and i cant figure out ventilation for a closet. i want odor control as well and pretty unsure how to get all this ventilation going and worried it will cost too much. do you even need extensive venting for a 250w or would some intake and some fans be enough. also sorry to ramble and sound dumb but i really would like to keep the door closed but most of what i read for venting says to buy a new door and to cut it up (live in apartment so cutting up walls wont work) so idk what to think man explain it to me if you will i would appreciate it.
