First time growers, just started flowering recently? come on in :)

Hi fellow RIU first timers I have just begun flowering my og kush beauties after 4 weeks of veg. They are 20 inches tall roughly and bushy bushy.

I an using 1000 watt hps x 1000 watt MH lighting for even spectrum. I have GH 3 part nutes with additives and kool bloom for flowering. I bubble tap water for a day before using and my temps and RH are under control.

I started this thread on a hope that fellow first time growers, that have recently begun the flowering cycle, will join me and share their experiences as we go from end of veg to harvest.

I plan on posting pics as soon as hairs (pistils) emerge from their calyxes and to keep posting new pics every few days until it's CHOP time... Hope to see you join me on this adventure as we can share tips and problems and make the journey go a lil smoother... :weed:

What if we're first time indoor growers? And I am a fan of bushy plants so I would love to see pics. Let me know if you want my pics, I have from week one up till current 3rd day of week 4 flowering cycle.

Welcome aboard Touchet, pictures are always welcome here ( I'll go snap and post a couple in a sec) I am also a first time indoor grower, i've pulled some weeds from the ground, so to speak

Throw down from start to current (flowering only) the idea on thris thread is first timers brag about and comapre harvests lol naw jkng (sorta) we also help out and trade tips and practice.

Well I'll get smoked in the wattage category but it's only me and my wife. Hopefully next year I'll be a certified caregiver so I can help more people. As is we donate half or outdoor harvest to people that need it, this year we're excited to do an indoor grow for ourselves and be able to donate the entire outdoor harvest. A close friend of ours has donated a small bathroom in exchange for free medicine. I'm getting the pics in order right now.

Under 150watt HPS and 2 23 watt CFL's as side lighting. Currently pics go from before flowering to 9 days in

They are looking...magnificient, absolutely glowing. What strain/ strains are those? You can refer to the kb size in the pics above if needing to label plants, as the kb's r all different. Good stuff and thanks for the update on your ladies. When did you switch to your flowering nutrients schedule? if switched. Also what height were they at when you flipped them? Any methods you plan on using at any points of flowering that possibly could improve or increase your yield? This question goes out to all who have joined this thread also...

ok goes as follows ...

planted 4-2-10 as clones from shop in denver sour kush and blue mystic planted in FFOF soil.

vegged under 400w hps only nutes from soil till 4-22-10 when i changed to 12-12

at that time they were both about the same size around 12'' or so i gave them a little fox farms grow big

the sour kush witch i FIMed during vegg stayed short and bushy and the blue mystic just took off streching like crazy

the second pic i posted is the sour kush and the last is the blue mystic pic 5 is both of them blue mystic in front

this Saturday they will get a moderate feeding

kind scard of nutes at this point from all the things i see on here so i will be taking it kinda slow on nutes
