Please help.

1. I need to know the best, most effective soil (or soil recipe) that I can buy from a regular store (Walmart,Homedepot etc.)
2. What are good nutes i can use? (Ill buy nutes online)
3. When do i start using nutes?

Ok, firstly calm down. cannabis wants to grow and for a 1st grow the K.I.S.S. is a very good way to go. Wish I had on my 1st grow. But anyway, MG potting soil mixed 3:1:1 with MG perlite and sphagnum. You will not need nutes for a very long time this way. Plenty of time released water activated nutes in all 3 components. Just plan the grow BEFORE you start. Read and study other stickies and journals from peeps doing MG grows. It is not the black parriah of growing cannabis that some may claim it too be. First off, props to bkb. Thats some good info there.

If you want super cheap and good results grab some MG potting soil, cook that shit with some garden lime for a few weeks and use Jacks Classic 20-20-20 for your fert. You cant get much cheaper than this.

If you're brand new & have a little money the Fox Farm line has done me real good. They have been around a long time & the schedules & feeding charts are solid, but their just one of a 1000.
These days if you start in dirt & keep the additives simple it saves alot of heartache. With all the chatter & promises & equipment & DOGMA in the industry today it's too much sometimes.
Seems like if you pick a product line you can respect & follow the guidelines, the first 3 grows are so much more productive & fun.

I agree with the MG soil. You can also use fish emulsion for the supplement when watering. Works really well.
