Here is a very good example of the drastic color difference Nitrogen makes in the ENTIRE plant not just the bottom leaves.




The lighter plants are being grown in organic MG and the darker plants in regular MG. The darker plants are getting all the N they need (whoever says they are getting too much N is full of it) The lighter plants don't have enough N and is easily fixed. This is just to show they major difference a little Nitrogen can make for the newbies out there that freak out because their plant doesn't look like eveyrone elses when it first starts growing.
Also this shows that Organic growing can slow down the uptake of nutrients until the soils environment gets established with the necessary bacteria and fungi to break down the nutrients for the plant.
