Nice view! Beautiful plants! Nice, neat, clean garden. You must get good airflow up on the hilltop there. No problems with powdery mildew or mold with plants that bushy?
Here's my wonderment...did you till the ground first, lay down the plastic, cut holes for the grow pots? Are those grow pots? And if so, what size? 200 gal? OR...are they made from plastic sheeting? I likey....Maybe want to do that in my already established beds. Please let me know??? I love what you're doing here...could be a bit of improvement on my own, which I'm always open to making better each year. Do we ever quit learning? Thanks....GG..

You can read the whole thread on ICMAG the grower of those bushes was over there and documented the whole grow in the Outdoor section. Theres another guy ganja something who helped with that grow check it out a good read. keepem green dirrtyd

Yeah, you better have your sh*t together if your gonna post on the outdoor page in ICMAG
Luckily they have a 'Greenhouse' page. I can hold my own in there!lol!
HL is a baller!

Wow. Those beauties are something to aspire to. Pure horticulture art at its finest. Almost look photoshopped they're so far out of scale!

They are very nice. I have a friend who grows his this big, too. Uses raised beds a bit taller than these, but in long rows about 6' wide and 25' long. He spent many many many dollars on soil and amendments. Grows monsters...averages 5-8 lbs per plant. My beds are into the ground not so much above/raised. A bit raised, but only about 4" above the paths. The plants that are in these pics are already over a foot above ground which makes them look so much taller than they are. Nevertheless, he's gotta be getting 4-6 lbs. each!!!
Yes....very healthy looking and soooo dark green. Mmmmmmm. GG

Yeah, you might be right!! Maybe 8 pounders. I'm gonna go take a closer look... GG

OK!!! I went back and looked again. HOLY SHIT!!! My eyes are bugging out! I don't really know if I'd want plants that big. Kinda scary. Maybe one or two. Am I nuts? I just don't want to be overwhelmed. Yeah, ok. I do.......:wall:
