Looking forward to seeing those.
In my 10 years of buying beans from many, many breeders; I still cannot settle on just 1.
Today I'm harvesting the larger of 2 plants from a different breeder, stuff is frosty and dank as hell; only the first plant literally
1/3 the yield of the second...from same pack of seed.
I just cannot seem to find the yield to go along with the top shelf flower.
Anyways, my HSC beans have arrived; they included a full 10 pack of northern lights.
Now that strain I've grown from other breeders, so it will be interesting to compare.
Yeah i find is always the case plenty of variation but sometimes it's a good thing, gotta hunt for a them keepers and clone em, I do want more consistency in the grow room and variety of course, so this is what I try to do now. Good luck with those.

Have to screen shot pics as for some reason there not in jpg I think. Here are my second pheno 2 plants as you can see kinda sprouty tops, low quality lacking plump nugs and smells like dull cardboard and abit of glue which some people might love but its not what hella jelly should be....not appetising for me but not unpleasant, could even be crazy good smoke ya never know but these are the ones I am disappoint in. Also all grow in same tent no difference in anything. Sorry about light being on so It is unfair but there is crazy difference between the phenos. What is your method of pheno hunting?.
Last time I did this, wound up cloning every plant until I smoked it; then threw away all the non-keepers.
It was a royal pain, very time consuming.
I think breeders need to simply clone their best seeds.
I'd pay a lot more for no variation beans.
Thanks for sharing the pics, and please do let us know how the cardboard pheno smokes; sounds like a recessive terpine.
I have an abnormally appearing mountain top mint here, instead of smooth leaves; they are super ruffled.
I'll have to keep a close eye on her upon flowering, as sometimes this indicates intersex tendency.
Happy holidaze!

Hey all! 2 questions please and thanks!

It's obviously subjective, but what's traditionally been the most heady strain HSC has that's also a huge producer? I don't care about terps, those will come. I just want to know what peoples opinions are on which strain(s) give you the most mind bending highs and also produce big indoors. I've grown Pistachio. Turned out very, very nice. Not a mind bending high but super smooth and relatively euphoric.

2. I have "Notorious THC" and "Nutter Budder" Moms that are very young. I will take clones from them in a couple months. Anyone have any opinions on what I should expect from these two strains as far as production and Headyness assuming I know what I'm doing in the grow room? THANKS!

What do you guys think about the original Blueberry Muffin vs the newer Cupcake/Pancake crosses?

I've been wanting to try this strain for a while now and might pick some up. Has anyone grown more than one? Which do you recommend?

Hey does any body have experience with the new Choc Mint Og 2.0? Got some growing and just read about the hermie issues from the first Choc mint was wondering if this was addressed with the newer version?

Choc Mint Og is Humboldt Seed Organization.
This is tread is Humboldt Seed Company.
Still an excellent question and was wondering if the 2.0 was better, worse or the same as the original.

I've gotta agree tbh.

I grew blueberry muffin, which did get me high, but it's the worst high ever, literally makes me feel like shit, and it's not just the pheno, I've smoked 3 different phenos, the other 2 were purchased 1 black market and 1 dispensary....all of them had 1 thing in common, the shitty high.

Then I purchased some Hella Jelly flower which looked awesome but had absolutely no potency.

Idc what the lab results say, if it doesn't get me high or has a shitty high, I'm gonna call it like it is....and despite awesome colors, flavors and structure on blueberry muffin, overall it smokes like fucking trash. Hella jelly was a huge let down as I've heard a bunch of ppl rave about it.....highly forgettable for me.
Which breeders/ strains would you recommend as your favourite highs ?

Does anyone know why HSC isn't able to process orders on their website? Just went to check out some stuff and saw the disclaimer at the top of their site

All I see in the checkout is that they cant ship to idaho, new hampshire, mississippi, south dakota, or outside the us.

Sorry for the mistake, I didn't even notice a difference I will post back on the hermie issue but I must say if I get hermies there is a big chance it was the stress I put them under as its been a difficult grow..

Yo keep me up to date on the mountain top I have 3 in atm. I grow around 18-25 plant altogether, I cut off good established clones jus before flower and put them in fridge in water which i *try* to remember to change every day. I have successfully rooted 2 clones from fridge status after around 3 months. Get an aerocloner if not got one makes life so much easier too.

Also the 2 sprout ones weren't even worth trimming very disappointed, though the last hella jelly look and smells very nice but I yet to sample.

If you dry the cuts off really well and put them in ziplocs, you don't have to keep them in water or have to mess with changing the water. I made a thread about it a while back and rooted and grew out several fridge clones to completion. I could tell no discernible difference in any of the stages of growth or finished product or yield.

Edited to add the link to the fridge clones thread

Have 3 cali octane 2 jelly donuts and a mountain top mint. Trying to decide which 2-3 I should put in my tent that gets all the TLC. I hav 15 other humboldt seedlings of different strains in other location which get alot less time. Hmm what recommend
