What's a good dehumidifier for 4x4 grow tent that wont produce much heat?
I've heard about placing a dehumidifier in the lung room, which I have. Its been going for 2 days, but the humidity is still high especially at night and after I water. I know I'll need it lower when my girls start to flower, so I'm trying to get it under control now. Thanks

How big is your current humidifier in lung room? I had put mine in the tent before, and I was always chasing too low, too high, too hot. Something was always off. It worked, just wasn't optimal, always chasing.

Used to use it in the basement. Can't put it in the tent, bc it drives the temperature up

Hey boys and girls thought I'd jump in on this if acceptable??? Short thread n new.
I always grow autos in a 4x4 tent in a large spare bedroom with a window plenty of fresh air. I run 20/4, so when lights go off, humidity will jump up from 50-70rh.....but only for a very brief amount of time. Fortunately my temps still stay within a good range so my VPD stays in check. No issues.
Here's my proble.....im running photos this time. 4×4, tent same setup.
I just flipped to 12/12. And during that 12 he of darkness? Inside the tent is hitting high 80's rh, temp at 70.
I have a 6" ac infinity at full blast too. My window in the bedroom is open, im in michigan it's nice in the bedroom. About 45-50rh
So I've got exhaust pumping that air out, a fan at the bottom pushing air in.
I'd normally just unzip the tent. But nedds 12 hrs darkness! Ummm....a dehumidifier INSIDE the tent??? That's gotta be my ONLY option?
Any suggestions on a dehumidifier I can run at night, bring from 80-90% RH down yo ehhh 50-60??
It seems like the exhaust, plus intake woukd draw thst humidiry out.
Fortunately it's only day 2 flower so no damage yet.
AND I have IN the tent 2 short oscillating fans om the ground. 2 oscillating fans at canopy level. I have MASSIVE amounts of air movement in that tent. There isn't a stagnant air anywhere it's allll being blown around. Guys??? A dehumidifier in my tent???

I have an Inventor EVA Pro , its brilliant , little costly though , but if you get one in a tent make sure you get one with a top fan/vent so its venting it directly upwards not just blurging it in the tent. Can have it positioned near the extractor zone so it can whip the warm air out for the off hours.

Dehu should be in lung room, not tent.

You need more fresh air coming in. This is a big issue with tents. Also tents don’t work great when you have too many or too big of a plant - I dislike tents for these reasons alone.

What is the water schedule? How many plants and in what size container? Where is your probe or device located for measurement?

*my first tent was a 4x4 and I had trouble maintaining humidity. 4 5 gallons. I also was watering too much. I added a dehu but in the end better stewardship led to balance.
