I’m about to put 4 of his Gaby Sour D’s into flower in the next 2-3 weeks. I’ll have a journal going for them soon. Pretty excited.

I don’t know if you were following him through the Wing Wang saga, but apparently somebody on IG was flowering his SD next to the Wing Wang cut aka Original AJ/Real Sour D and said they were exactly the same. They did look exactly the same from the photos. I think it was OHM Genetics on IG who was running them side by side.

Either way, I’m hyped from all the hype so I’m hoping it’s what I remember from 2008-2009.

Unfortunately, it probably is not. It is not what I remember as what I got for years as Sour D...skunky, greasy, funky.definately Sour tasting....no citrus...I was very disappointed...it reminded me more of what went around as headband...
I grew up in the Fairfax, Chantilly, Arcola and Manassas area...I graduated HS in '85

The closest I am finding to what I remember is some old Day Wrecker stuff I have, Shoreline Genetics ECSD bx, I have not gotten to his Sour D yet, and his FishScale will make some old heads reminisce.
I got the majority of my old stuff that was collected by me was confiscated when someone ratted on me and they raided my home. Everything I have now is from present day, all the old stuff is gone.

I do however hope it is what you remember and are super stoked to have it and enjoy it for a long time to come

Regardless, this looks like quality! Makes me want to change up my plans for the next grow. If I can trust the genetics, I will try backcrossing Diesel Train x Lemon Haze to Diesel Train. And Diesel Train x MB15MT to the same Diesel Train seed. F2 these and pheno hunt for sour diesel. Both BX’s will be 75% DT so the F2 seeds should lean DT. Not perfect obviously but since I’m isolated, I have to work with the genetics I have on hand
