what’s your budget?

Do you already have any equipment? Vivosun has a tent 5x5 and hps 1000 w light With ballast for about 300 but you’d still need some soils and pots and things of that sort

Have pots already, the only thing I don’t have as yet are the tent and lights

119 for a decent 4x4 tent and about 159 for a 1000w hps double ended or you could go for a dimmable 630w Cmh

Sounds good, I would keep u posted on it, I just have to figure out how to build it but I have some good ideas how I would like it to be

If you are even thinking of running either one of those out dated barn lights I sure hope you have a good Hvac system in place for the heat you will be dealing with.

You could go led if you are going to encounter heating issues

I wouldn’t go as far as saying 630 is out dated. You can totally build LED lights yourself and easily stay in budget but otherwise with you only being able to afford 300 I don’t see LED being a great option

I suggest to save up more money and either buy a good LED or a good ac unit if you choose to go the HID route.

I did score an ac brand new twenty bucks from Craigslist if that’s helpful because my Cmh is hot af but does produce good buds

I can spend more then $300 US. What u guys know this is for personal use and the joy of growing weed. Craigslist is a no no for me cause I live in the Caribbean.

Well what space do you have to work with and do you have the ability to cool your area effectively. I’m assuming it gets pretty hot and humid there.
what medium do you wanna use or are you doing hydro

The medium I’m using at the moment is soil in pots. And yes I want hydro because it’s faster and I have the time to check on them, but I would like to get accustom planting first before I branch across to hydro. I was hoping to grow the hydro outside and not use lights but it is looking like I have to buy lights and build a very small room for them

So for now I am gathering information, Also could buy up the hydro equipment
