I add biochar to my mix as well (about 10%)- there are some good studies on the use of biochar in agriculture.... (it's an ancient technique and biochar is the main reason Terra Preta soil is so rich

Correct me if I'm wrong, I read this article from royal queen seed, it mentioned in the article, if using pre fertilised mix soil, the plant can grow from start to finish without feeding them nutrients? Pardon me, im on a budget, I read some nutrient about NPK but I don't plan to invest too much on the nutrients

The NPK ratio seem a little too advanced for me, therefore I'm looking at coffee ground 'tea' as a cheaper alternatives

Thats right. You can use premixed soil but most likely you'll run into some nutrient deficiencies when your plants have used up certain ratio of the nutrients. If you are on a budget, you can still get locally produced nutrient lines. Check out serbajadi.com.my. You can get any nutrient thats suitable for tomatoes. Super cheap and your plants will thank you for the added nutes.

You have my gratitude, you are really helpful. I will check it out. I don't mean to be spoon fed. But there are too many info out there and I'm overwhelmed, anyway is 50w full spectrum purple led enough for 2 x 4f grow box? I dun have the lux meter to measure the ppfd. I just wanna know it is useable from start to end

According to some website wattage need to be doubled for each sqf increase, I hope the grow light I bought is enough for a single plant, I just need to figure the distance for veg stage and flowering but my grow light doesn't have the veg n flowering mode, it does have dimming option though

Most companies would provide all that info on their site. Light coverage, height for veg and flowering, etc. What brand light did you get dude?
myrceneCB1
myrceneCB1
Sorry to say that it's a no brand led light and it's not powerful enough for cannabis. You might be able to get away with growing small herbs and flowers but it's not enough for cannabis.

You want something budget friendly but at the same time efficient enough for several grows. Check out the following link to get an idea.

I've used Mars hydro and it's really good. Not ridiculously expensive as well. I've used it for two cycles of grow and sold it of to a friend who is still using it now. Their customer service is quite good as well.

Look at this instead man. It's cheaper than the one on lazada and it would be just nice for your grow space.

Thanks man.. after considering. I think I'll just go with the mars hydro 2x2 combo set. Thank you.

Hey guys, tumpang post here since you all also Malaysian :D:D I just started growing my first seed, and I'm concerned about two things.. Temperature and humidity. I've read online that temperatures higher than 30C is bad for THC, as well as high humidity being bad for flowering.. The temps in my grow room are 30.9 C and float around 75% humidity... is this going to affect my bud? Thanks guys

Hello there orang Malaysia. We should start a Malaysian Growers Thread lah. :)

Thats right man. It will affect your final yield if your temp and humidity is out of the acceptable range. You can definitely still grow it but the yield wont be great. You want the temp to be anywhere between 24-28 for both veg and flowering. If it gets more than 30, it will breakdown the enzymes.

RH for germination and early veg is 80-90%. During heavy veg 60-70%. Flowering 50-60 mainly to reduce risk of mold or fungal infestation.
