No u can not fit a 6 inch ducting to an 8 inch inline fan if it was the other way around u could’ve with a hose clamp I don’t understand why would u go back and tell him wrong fucken size and tell him don’t u know this stuff u own a store couldn’t u c a 6 and 8 r two different sizes

Get a 8" to 6" adapter from the home depot. More noise and less flow. And get a refund or replacement in right size. LOL.

Hahah adapter why spend your money and time searching for that adapter 6 to 8 connection that shit always sold out by me I would just got back and exchange it save u time and money
