it sounds like a photo not an auto, only autos will flower in about 10 plus weeks, photos will grow untill you flip the lights to 12/12 and then wait about two weeks for it to stsart flowering.
you could take some cuttings and then flower those after a few weeks of growth, you will have a bunch of small clones that will flower well in the smaller space,
