if your bottom feeding, try some diatomashous earth on the top of the soil, a good layer of that will stop them from getting into the soil

I’ve been having same issue for a bit, do you have holes in the bottoms of your pots? Some pots they will move to the bottom if it’s open once you let top dry out. I have been using cann control every other day sprayed on top of the pots if I skip a few days they come back but if I do it every two days I hardly see any at all.

gnats are generaly caused by over watering, you should hold back on the watering maybe, it should help if nothing else

Gogo kid i have been mate. Basically first time using dry amendments. You have to keep the coco moist for the microbial life and all this other ahit so not as easy as using canna. After the gnat problem escalated i just started using the canna synthetics again but bottom feeding so they only take what they need now

i "control" (Not Decimate) my fungus gnats by soaking large amounts of mosquito dunks in water and adding it to my feed water. it keeps it manageable. i have wet peat 24/7 so i feel your pain.

I don't think bottom feeding is a good idea. The pots will have soggy bottoms if they're just sitting in saucers. When I first started growing I battled an invasion for months, then elevated my pots and they disappeared. If I get them now I just cut back on watering and catch the adults with yellow traps. Now that I use Blumats I look at them more as a helpful indicator of oversaturation than as a pest.
