    Best Cloning machines?

When I was younger we didn't call it cloning. We said it was rooting a cutting and all we used was fresh water and cups. The hardest part was remembering to change out the water every morning and mist the leaves several times throughout the day. These new cloning machines pump oxygen into the...

    What do I do?

Remember anything targeted to marijuana growers is going to be 10x more expensive. Once you get away from that you need to decide on what style of gardening you are going to try. Seems you already figured out the location which is going to be indoors. Now decided between fast delivery of...

    Three weeks from seed

Way to early to see sex and overall it looks okay, but not great. Personally I would expect it to be darker, but that could also just be the lighting either from your end or mine. I do like how its staying compact. To be safe you can test the run off. Is this your first?

This is the easiest way to clone

Yeah, I no way your getting roots in three days. Two weeks is the average. The difference between a cloner and manually changing the water is negligible. It's mostly a convenience thing.

    Cloning autos?

Yeah, the answer is no you don't clone autos. The benefits with autos is they grow any time of the year and mature really fast. The negative is they grow short (usually under 2ft) so you need to grow a lot and you always have to start from seeds. Indoors in cabinets or dedicating a room and...

This is the easiest way to clone

I've been rooting cuttings this way for years. It's how my parents and great grandparents did it. If someone else rather spend $300 on a "cloner" power to them. Sheers and a fast food cup is all I ever needed.

    miracle gro potting soil

You should have two soils, one for germination (Miracle Gro, Seed Starting Potting Mix) and one established plants. I wouldn't hesitate to use the moisture control just don't add nutrients. FWIW there are better choices that cost less if you shop around. I use Kellogg Patio Plus @ $4 a bag...

    Buckets or ground?

Another option is to build 3'x3'x6" raised beds. No digging so you don't damage the existing beneficial microbes and it still allows you to use premium potting soil. It's also cheaper then bags and every Sq ft is roughly seven gallons. I usually do one sativa or hybrid per bed or four indicas...

    Bud worm in Australia?

Neem will just annoy them. I deal with them by plucking them off by hand early in the morning. BT is popular for control but I never needed it. They seem to attack weak plants first and they have never done major damage to any of mine (but they can if left unchecked). If you stay on top of your...

    outdoor grow in cali

Check your frost dates. Usually you plant in March, but if you have a cold frame you can start in February. Now if you have a good indoor setup you can start now and get monster sized plants. However if you start anytime in March (after danger of frost) you'll be very happy with your yield

    grow bags

Instead of bags build raised beds or grow in rows. However if you need bags, you can double up on paper bags or use reusable grocery bags. Discount Hydro also sells cheap plastic bags in bulk for a reasonable price. Personally though I say raised beds or in the ground

    Pot size

I start in one gallon then transfer my plants to my raised beds. However sometimes the beds aren't ready and I'll put them in ten gallon containers. But if I wait to long to transfer I notice a big drop in yield. When using containers my goal is to always have a two inch space between the root...

    pest revention aussie grow

Your never going to eradicate all the pests. In fact going crazy with the insecticides and pesticides is how you create an infestation. Instead you need to find out what pests your dealing with then target them specifically and only when necessary. Very early in the season I like to use...

    Outdoor Greenhouse Help...

I don't build greenhouses, but just seeing them in use around the neighborhood even clear plastic greenhouses are difficult to see through. I think, but again I'm no greenhouse expert, any plastic made specifically for greenhouses should be fine.

    6 week veg yield?

Since I don't know all the details about your growing setup, skills, and climate I won't make a guess as to what you may or may not get. What I can share is what my neighbors got. They went out and bought clones in June and planted them in the ground along the fence. They used FoxFarm nutrients...

    Starting seeds outdoors?

I use a single 200w CFL bulb and hood for four plants and it does a good job of giving me a six week head start. That means instead of starting in mid-March, I can start in February. Pretty big advantage to me. If I had better lights and more room I'd start in January, but honestly that's just...

Whats the best product/incet to get rid of outdoor siper mites?

Unless it's an infestation I leave them alone. If anything, ice water with a drop or two of Dawn dish soap in a spray bottle should be sufficient. They usually die off on their own when the temperature drops.
