    Clone only strains

Here's an update of my GG4. Crazy how fast this thing's maturing. This is day 50. I didn't take clones before I flipped which I'm kicking myself for now but I took some cuts a week ago after watching her grow. Revegging sucks but if one of these cuts roots I'll deal with it.

Do you have a secret ingredient?

Yes adding wood can lower your available nitrogen but only temporarily. Some microbes need nitrogen for fuel to break down the wood but after they die and decompose the nitrogen is available again. At least that's how I understand it. This explains it better than I can...

Do you have a secret ingredient?

I'm not saying it's bad. I'm sure it's great for the soil. I've heard of people adding used fish tank carbon so I'm gonna read up some more. Seems like it would be somewhat like pre-charged biochar.

Heres a Very Interesting Study On Photoperiod

I've seen some threads where people run 14/10 and say it increases yield. It makes sense. I've also seen a thread that says shorter photoperiod produced better quality, but that might just be because they're comparing fully done buds to almost done buds. Not sure but this is one of the threads...

Do you have a secret ingredient?

Not sure I can buy that. Its not like the bacteria can move around and choose to move to the wood. Maybe if there's wood chips all throughout the soil but I still have a hard time with that one. Where did you read about that?

Do you have a secret ingredient?

Sticks are good for the soil. Soil bacteria will turn the sticks and even bones to compost over time. Sticks don't really take that long in healthy soil.

Do you have a secret ingredient?

You're right it might not explain it the best, but it made a little sense to me. The Ion exchange part is what stood out. It looks like biochar can exchange ions and activated carbon can't. I could be wrong though. This one might be a little better...

Do you have a secret ingredient?

Adding filter carbon got me curious so I did some research. This explains it pretty well. https://rosysoil.com/blogs/news/biochar-vs-charcoal

    Is this calcium deficiency?

Oh ya. That's a great chart. I still don't understand it fully but use it all the time. What's confusing is the Stimulation/Synergism part. At least in my stoner mind. The black and green chart makes it seem like you need more phosphorus if you have extra magnesium and the red and green one...

    Is this calcium deficiency?

That's what I was thinking. I added the same mixture to some other flowering plants and there was clearly potassium deficiency showing up so I was thinking the magnesium was locking out both the potassium and calcium on this one. Thanks for the reply.

    Is this calcium deficiency?

I think I might have given this plant too much magnesium and now it's locking out some calcium. Does this look like calcium deficiency to you guys? It's in soil with organics.

    Can anyone identify these?

    Springtails.

    Ph level adjust

It just looks a little spindly like it's reaching for light.

    Potassium Deficiency or Overwatering?

Recycled soil is an important detail. Maybe just start over with new soil.

    Ph level adjust

Don't trust that meter. That's what I thought you might have. That's why I asked what kind.

    What kind?

    Where to purchase clones?

Can I ask what you paid? I want that cut too.
