Yeah you just have to wait for mother nature or take a clone or take a box or something and cover one of the node sites. You can locally induce flowering, and it won't interfere with the rest of the plant.

For a scrog I would say less is more. It's much easier, in my opinion to scrog say 3 or 4 plants because there are less variables. As long as one has sufficent air movement, mold is not an issue. As for the deficiency, so much of growing is tailoring solutions to you specific problem. If the foliar feeding solves the problem, then you have no problem. Give it a try and see how the plant responds. Enjoy your buds.
