    Problems With Clone

Thats supposed to happen. If those are the original fan leaves from the clone, those ones turn yellow and die naturally as it uses those leaves for food when its rooting. It can't get enough food with its small roots so it feeds on itself, thats just how cloning works. When I clone, thats how...

    tying down?

Sounds like a waste of taxpayer dollars to me. Would make sense in national parks or something but not in neighborhoods.

Term limits so people vote whats right instead of across party lines. Being a congressman should be an honor, not a job.

So we can cap debt as % of GDP, cut military spending, reform entitlements, redo the tax code, add some stimulus focusing on small business. That plans already better than what they are gonna pass and we only took a few hours....lol

Back to my original point, they are lawyers not economists. Between you and I, although are views vary, we have more economic knowledge than a large portion of the congress. How about term limits, can i get that one past you?

I bet there's people who make millions that pay sub 20% after they do taxes, thats where you should go find your extra revenue. I have no sympathy for them. Throw out the tax code, one page returns and start from scratch.

My wife owns a small business, i can guarantee you small biz tax cuts would create jobs. She's had to do layoffs due to the economy. She could've kept them if she was getting a little "stimulus" If you extrapulate that over the whole country, you're talking tons of jobs.

debt cap as percentage seems reasonable, tax reform needs to be flattened though, close loopholes and make everyone pay around their rate, you don't really need to raise rates to increase revenue. Plus, everyone has to pay something. I don't think that would fly with the current Senate...

I think our country is at a point that unions aren't necessary any more, your using a 1930's argument in 2011. If you got rid of unions, you think all labor standards would fall off? Thats a bit reaching don't you think? I haven't heard of walmart (non-union) locking workers in and them...

I heard someone say once that liberals are empathetic and conservatives are logical. Seems to fit in most situations. The side you are on is which one you do first.

We'll never gain competitiveness because union wages have shut down virtually all exportable manufactured products due to cheaper wages in other countries. Thats a great example of not letting the market set wages (someone else thinking they know better) and it having ill effects on business/jobs.

If I have learned one thing, its that people who believe in income redistribution and don't think our debt is an issue ....they reconfirm my choice to have all of my retirement money in precious metals. See how much the stock market loved that debt deal, it went down today....lol. Love my...

If lower wages create jobs, then we should just get rid of unions. true story...we once had to get a blind hung in our office building, building reg's stated you could only use 1 of 3 companies. 15 minutes of work...$850...no joke! And the guy was allocated 3 hours to do it.

i agree....making it a little harder for people who have nothing is benevolent because it motivates them. Throwing some food stamps and a shitty apartment at someone with nothing and basically telling them to "stay in their hole" is borderline cruel. Keynesian, socialist, or communist models...

Good point but I'm sure any balanced budget amendment would have loopholes in it to allow for emergency spending and your assuming stimulus works...another point i'm sure we differ on. The amendment would simply keep them balanced in normal times so when a crisis did occur, we were in a strong...

Let me ask you a question, if everyone had a house, healthcare, a job, tons of food and everything they needed etc... and we were spending exactly what we took in, would you be ok with that (meaning not running a deficit)?
