ok I have changed the 400w hps to a 250w hps, and lowered the light to 2 feet above the tops. The plants are on their 4th day. Is this likely to burn them?? There's another 5 hours of darkness before the light comes back on so If anyone has any feed back before then that would be great.

Yeah man I wathced a vid on youtube there, it say's a silk screen, the type used for printing t-shirts, so deffinately a fucking arts and crafts store!! Although you will probobly have to build a little wooden frame for yourself.

I don't know man. I've read that a good piece of silk would work. You could get that in any fabric store or maybe a craft shop of some kind. You'd have nothing to lose if it didn't work. actually you might even get a good fine mesh screen in a craft store.

i saw a video about how to do that on youtube. really easy method. Im starting my first grow but I have friends who have been growing for years and had never saved the cuttings that they trimmed of the buds to screen for hash!!!! They just bin em!!

I have the window boarded up too so when the lights are off the entire room is in pretty much complete darkness. What about the fan, enough for circulation/ventilation?? seeds will be here saturday, so as long as the set up is sound I'll be germinating at the weekend.
