Im no pro but this is how i do it. Make a 1/4 inch hole (I use the end of a pen), put the germed seed in root down, gently cover with soil do not compress the soil just fill the hole back up. Put it in a warm place, with light and water, ie. your grow tent, closet, room ect. Dont fiddle round...
