ok so its my first grow and i have planted 2 seeds into these strange soil pellet things for germination, during this stage should i not have the light on? and how tall or old should it be before putting light on? also how long will it be before i see it sprout?

Its called grit weed, ive never had any personally but ive heard alot about it. They have different grades of it aswell. theres a few videos on youtube about it.
