No nutes, just Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil right now... the others are all doing great (as far a we can tell) so I think this one just hasn't recovered from it's seed case sticking problem. But it's odd because it hasn't died, just hasn't really grown either. The others are huge compared to it...

Our bag is 1.5 cubic feet it says 38.6 dry quarts.... would fill about eight 2 gallon pots. We filled 3 and only used about a third of the bag.

Mainly I have a small rectangular area, so I think they'd fit better up next to each other under the light. Also the ones at the greenhouse were white, which reflects the light so that might help. Not sure if they're really better or not, but I'm pretty sure you get to use more area with squares...
