I was talking to a guy @ the hydro shop, he said the dig ballast with fans, were having problems. The ones without fans never come back. May be exchange it?

Dumping the air from the lights is not a good idea. The heat will just build by the hour. Then your trying to cool the lights with hotter air. pull air from the eve, and exhaust out. push the heat from the lights out of the attic. you could exhaust in the eve, if sealed lights, with no odor...

You might, I said might get away with just venting the lights. I'm guessing you have A/C in the room. With the addition of Co2 your temps can run higher. You still have to address odor control. If you just vent the lights with no other intake/exhaust, add Co2, you could get a can filter , set it...

You could reduce cost and buy just 1 fan for exhaust. Make a passive intake. Use the savings to purchase a carbon filter to scrub the room air before exhausting it. If you need ideas on this, post the details of your room, l x w x h, closet, first or second floor, or basement. Apartment or house.

You had a good sized closet, from what I remember. Go to Dr. chronic, and review the different strains. I think that a good cross would be nice. I don't know much about the medi. side. Maybe something with White widow or nirvana. How are you going to grow? Hydro/soil?If cost is a factor, there...

They both use the same # watts. 240 will pull less amps.

That fan will cool 2 1kw's maybe 3 if you hook them up right. Are you scrubbing the air? You better in an apartment. That fan won't be silent. Take some pics.

I did not make my post clear. I use the 1kw's on 6" with no heat what so ever, 1 on 2

I have seen a water cooled Co2 burner for about $350, and propane water heaters for $250. There is a water run off, so you would have to cool that run off some way to avoid waste.

Are there any issues with noise? What are you doing for order control? 6x6x8 is a good size closet If noise is not an issue, the go with the 6" 250

4-1kw's on 2-6" 460 cfm's , plenty cool enough. be careful how close you put them to the plants. You still have to get your distance. I like the size of 6" duct is small spaces. how large of a space you trying to cover? soil or hydro?
