Insulate! it's cheap, and some what insulates for noise. I always insulate. Sure it traps the heat, that's what I want. Then I can effectively move that heat. If your gonna run a sealed room, insulate.

Good luck, put mine in a cooler, filled it foam, hung it from bungee, it made more noise than when I just bolted it to the ceiling.

If you want a simplistic,kick ass system, check out Heath's flooded vertical tubes. 2-600w's 1 fan (exhaust) 1 RES 1PUMP, and a sh*t load of 4" pvc pipe, and fittings. you could build 2 systems. pick a quick turn strain, pull 5lbs out of there.

Build one, simple. Plenty of DIY to walk you through. You will learn so much quicker.

You can vent out the top of the room. You can insulate all the walls, insulation is cheap and fast. Oh , put sheet rock on the walls also, I left out the walls. Are you going soil or hydro? what is the size of the room? How many lights? You have water in the room? water in the room is nice.
