I had a feeling. Thanks so much. would you suggest temporarily reducing the intensity of light? I have 3 pc fans in a 22x24x28 cabinet. One blowing over the plants and an intake and exhaust fan. Def. enough. It has to be the light. and i thought they were stretching lol.:wall:

Have some seedlings in a cabinet. 100 watt MH. Flat white material surrounding them. Most of the light is focused within about 1 square foot. So thats over 8000 lumens focused in 1 square foot. Light is just about a foot away from my seedlings. Seed leaves or w/e have been acting weird...

Here is day4 after germination. I thought they might be stretching, so i painted aluminum foil white to help focus some of the light. I need mylar. lol I raised the pot so ignore the minimal space between the soil and my screen. Is this normal growth or did they stretch a little???

Finished construction of the case. Almost done hiding it. I plan on wrapping it in cardboard, (will look like a box), and stack boxes on top of it. You'll see soon.

Good thing i asked. :) You recommended 2ft. 4 bulb t5's. What about 2 - 2ft. 2 bulb t5's? or even 4 - 2ft. 1 bulb t5's? I could mount them vertically after veg stage and help supplement lower foliage. Or will a 250 watt HPS be plenty for one plant?

If i'm gonna use a 250 watt hps for flowering... why not buy the mh conversion bulb and use that for veg?

Nice find. Not sure if the reflector will fit in my enclosure though. says 18 inches. is that 18 inches measured parallel to the bulb or perpendicular to?
