arite ive done a lot of researcch bout lighting and i now have a 1000 watt convertible mh hps light. and im going to use the mh for veg and the hps for flower but someone jus told me if i have a 1000 watt mh for veg i need 4000 watts of hps for flower, is this true???? or can i jus use the 1000...

so here goes, im starting a indoor grow in an old wine cellar in the basement of my house. It has good ventilation and all that. i have a 1000 watt convertible hps mh light and im planning on doing a 30 - 50 plant grow in soil...the room is 8x8...im not new to growing but i am new to growing...
