Could they come back to life, or is it bad to have these leaves stay on the plant?

I just got some plants from a friend of mine and the biggest one looks like this. He said that while his bro was watching them he over-watered it. A lot of the leaves are yellow and shriveled up but it still has some sections of green. What can I do to save it? (if its not too late)
