2018 Canadian outdoor strains of choice.

Have grown big bud multiple times many years ago, easy to grow, fast flowerer, insane yields if you get that 1 good pheno. But potency is very low. It’s more of a cash cropper but their are plenty of big yielding better quality smoke imo. sounds like your after an indica leaning/fast flowering...

10 years since last grow! DWC, already in trouble!:D

I’d dump that water if I were you, rinse out the clay balls/net pot and bucket, use bottled or RO water until young plants are established. Use base nutes only, at around 350ppm. And set PH to 5.8. Ensure roots are getting plenty of oxygenated water... At this stage of growth, part strength...

Another story that proves guns make people safer

“Another story that proves guns make people safer” wasn’t it someone with a gun that endangered people in the first place? Lol.

Old School Skunk, who's found it???

I’ve grown sour D and some smelly skunk no.1’s from sensi seeds, I thought the skunk no.1s were smelly, but nothing compared to a 91 chemdawg pheno I grew the year after! I know what your saying about that pungent skunk smell capt, this chemdawg had that skunky/diesel, next level smell that got...

    Illegal outdoor grows

Haha, smell was fairly minimal. A couple of times after rain, as things started warming up and drying out, the smell increased. I found a few of my lemon og’s were the culprits. I managed to swap a couple out with the strawberry bananas I had in the green house with the scrubber filter inside...

    Newbie here.. outdoor growth

Keep a close eye on it, could be a nana? It’s not a male imo. If it was the calyx would be very round. Give it a bit more time and hope to see 2 little hairs come out. If a tiny yellow looking banana pops out, it’s a hermie and will self pollinate and pollinate others in close proximity...

    Illegal outdoor grows

Strawberry banana, greenhouse on the right (I paid $200 aud Strong fan with carbon filter up high gets rid of smelly stale air from concentrating within the greenhouse. Strain selection and running various strains is they key imo. You will never have no smell outdoors but you can minimise it...

    Illegal outdoor grows

Your thinking is right on point kind sir! I have a 6m x 3.5m green house in my back yard, a carbon filter works great when hung up high and vented outside. It obviously won’t mask all the smell but does dramatically reduce it from my experience, a super silent fan with decent m3 of air flow and...

Sorry Reza, late reply. Don’t get on rollitup much anymore. I have used the 3 part before, it’s pretty good. I find with the 3 part that you can customise your feed a little better if needed. But yea expensive if you have a decent plant number. megacrop.... thanks for that, I’ll check it now 8-)

I use AN coco, expensive but simple and works good. Only must is to add is a little silica during late veg and during stretch. Really stiffens up the branches for flowering. I do love adding a bit of B52 in veg and big bud early to mid flower but not a necessity... I’ll have to switch nutes...

Off memory. It was a nice easy plant to grow jzs, solid veg growth, could take a decent strength feed, big solid buds, pretty good quality.

Tap water is fine but seedlings and very young plants will grow a bit faster and look a little healthier using RO water from my experience. Once they are about a foot high then the tap water won’t bother them. (My waters bad, so you may not notice a difference in young plants Don’t use any...

Something I found interesting when I was growing dwc/rdwc, is the difference in root colour when using tap water to RO water. When I used straight tap water (450 ppm and could smell the chlorine! Lol) Roots were amazingly white, I found when I was using RO water, any little issue like a light...

No dramas jzs, Air pots are fairly small, mainly 10 gallon, have a couple of 45 gallon pots aswell, (Can grow huge plants in small pots with coco) I have a fairly decent plant number so is easier and a lot cheaper to go with smaller pot sizes and water more frequently.

Haha, that would become one confused plant I reckon, who knows, it might not know what to do and just start pumping out the biggest, frostiest colas you ever seen.... Then we can change the bottle and sell it for $200 like everyone else does :hump:

An old grower I know swears by it. It’s no miracle cure but it helps I reckon. My theory is it prevents air getting in and drying the branch out so it can heal better, and also prevents nasties getting in.. I’ve been told the hormones in the clonex can trigger or speed up the healing process...
