    Mold spores on curing buds

Haha I want whatever you been smoking , sounds like you have been tooting on moldy bud!? It was just one of the jars compromised and only a few nugs near the top that were bigger (obviously wet inside) I checked the rest under UV / Black light and non others had any. I have cleared away these...

    Mold spores on curing buds

Very well observed my man, everything has gone through a rigorous dry, now. Also, there is no smell of mildew as I caught it very quick. can the bud be extracted to a vape juice or should it be solvent extracted due to mold? prefer to smoke than edible thanks

    Mold spores on curing buds

So after a daft move of not shutting one of my jars after burping , it appears to of got small white fluff spores, only a few but obviously cannot risk it. I am curious with these if I was to decarb, infuse into PG/VG for a e vape and filter through coffee filters they would be good to go? Or...

    LED Bulbs vs CFL Bulbs

I really appreciate your help everyone - it’s the intensity of the light that matters , more watt = more intensity , a LED is less intensity but brighter and not hitting that PAR as hard, where as a cfl is more intense and hitting the par range harder because of the watts used.

    LED Bulbs vs CFL Bulbs

I’m just wondering what makes watts the difference , how does a plant know the watts are better in that bulb lol , for example 2 bulbs both producing the same spec 2700k one cfl at 20w and the LED at 13w, sorry I know it’s probably basic but can’t seem to get a good answer lol

    LED Bulbs vs CFL Bulbs

So PAR is the light spectrum , so how does a metric of electricity usage come into the plants energy absorption

    LED Bulbs vs CFL Bulbs

I’m curious because I know the method of watt = gram , but is that old school? Are LEDs strips , bulbs, panels , advancing beyond this method? For example: I have a standard cfl bulb 2700k ideal for flowering - 20w producing 1350 lumens I also have a standard LED bulb 2700k - 13w producing...

    Small space LED lighting question

@StareCase - I meant I also achieved the actual wattage amount (grams per watt) using the vipar spectra ... just over many times... I’m curious however the new LED technology seems to be advancing from blurple to daylight or sunlight spec where the bulbs cover the spectrum not just red and...

Just out of interest @Psyphish - have you seen the above link someone using the sansi bulb? Looks really well with just the one haha

    Small space LED lighting question

the bulbs are sunk into the above , so there not taking much room. How’s your outcome at 185w? I’ve read somewhere that LED no longer go on the old method of watts to estimate yield. My old viparspectra 600w LED panel was ok , but was more or less on par with the actual wattage which was the...

    Small space LED lighting question

Thanks for the advice, did a search on here an someone looks to of used one and looked very well, im concerned now i have over power, especially my size space. https://www.rollitup.org/t/fishing-bag-grow-when-do-i-harvest.1044830/ 1 of the bulbs is equivelent to 200w - if thats the case im...

    Small space LED lighting question

hello, just looking for a bit of help regarding LED Lighting... I have setup a small space of h=81cm w=59cm and d=54cm covered in mylar. Light space takes 11cm off the height so 70cm below the light. Due to the space i have opted for 2 x LED Strips and 2 x bulbs. The LED Strips are 24w Dual...

    pH rising from airstone

Cannot seem to find any posts on this issue , the ones I do find do not seem to have a solution. I am running a waterfarm which has a 4 gallon res with an air stone along with a air lift top fed spraying system. I let my water stand for 48 hours then adjust pH down to approx 5.5 - 5.7 I then...

Advanced Nutrients - Big Buds - Coco Coir Formula in DWC?

I am using a waterfarm I fill it to 2.5 gallon. I believe the BAC Range expect you to use a bloom booster according to the charts. I was just expecting the P and K to be a tad higher. I find using when the actual flowers appear and the stretch stops as thats when the plant is focusing on bud...

    Hyperfan Cutting Out

Quick update, for anyone else that maybe having similar issues. I reduced all restrictions to the setup, no negative pressure , no friction in the setup, increased fan speed to 50% and run perfectly for 5 days. Today failed. My temps / humidity are strict. Removed the fan today. Thank you...

    Hyperfan Cutting Out

@coreywebster thanks for the reply. The filter is 600m3/hr and the fan Is 535m3/hr. The setup seems to fail when it’s on 24/7. Maybe a dodgy batch but I did get them both with around 4 months apart. The air intake is just air brought in through one of the openings, and relies on the suction of...

    Hyperfan Cutting Out

@Renfro thanks for the reply. I am using insulation ducting and relatively smooth inside. I have a few slight bends which I can address. you recon I may of damaged the fan progressively over time? Or do you recon if I smooth out the duct line and make it short as possible it will be ok? I...
