Me from experience I always germinate my seeds, from cup to Napkin with a heatmat and then when the tap root is showing I Plant in final home with autos I have 100% success every time

Autos do have a strong tap root that’s correct but some genetics aren’t the best and that’s really what it will always come down to

Those look like they have a ways to go and possibly not enough nutrients

Some people feed, and then they wait a few days and feed with just water.. of course if you do this too heavily you will definitely get root rot.
