Yep I hate it when politics creeps into totally unrelated forums.

Alright for a bit of couch lock and a good nights shut-eye. After nine months storage, the CBN is catching up with the THC. But you're right, I'll give it to my step-son he'll put it through his dyna-vape.

This baby was germinated in mid sept here in the NSW Northern Rivers into what was nice sunny weather for a couple of weeks, but was then met with the wettest cloudiest October possible. By the end of the month she was so confused by the dullness and hardly any sunsets or dawns that she decided...

G'day nice people. A couple of weeks back I posted this pic of a fresh out of seedling stage plant - with 4 or 5 nodes and showing pre-flowers: 16 days on and growing like billio and inc topping it's now 50cm tall but moving towards full flowering mode. Clearly this isn't desirable as a seed...

Here in the northern rivers we're having a shocking spring. I sprouted a seed in mid Sept and through the seedling stage we had a reasonable amount of sun. Bear in mind that at this latitude 30 deg south, the length of day at the equinox only varies mid winter/summer between 10 and 14 hours...

Do trichomes continue to develop after chop?

Correct. As a trichome peeper with microscopes to get a real handle on what happens after the chop, the change is I believe 100% chemical, dehydrated weed is as dead as the dodo. I've observed a slow transition from cloudy at the time of chop, to seeing a larger percentage of amber over time. I...

Haha yeah less than 5 hours shut eye at night, it's been the case since I were mid twenties, now 67 and retired so nothing to worry about. I gave up getting frustrated at being tired when I needed to be bright and alert at work because frustration at lack of sleep is the greatest sleep killer of...

Thanks Terry, somehow my macro pic suggests that we're entering the harvest window - a few amber trichomes, so perhaps a week or so and it's time to hang up the buds? BTW your young girls are sweeties :)

I used to brew beer as well. The stouts always came out the best hic! Final weeks can be nervous weeks. Bloody rain and humidity up near 100% day and night and not expected to improve until after the weekend, but hey-ho the expectation and apprehension is what makes the challenge of growing fun.

I gathered up a few nuts of roo poo for a gentle nitrogen fix and a couple of handfuls of seamungus - I steer clear of chemical fixes so hopefully there won't be too much N going in, but also some cal and P. I'm thinking the molasses tea and epsom salts help with the Mag and K. What do you and...

Okay I'm hoping that someone who likes to identify strains can put their finger on the two I grew from cuttings from a friend of a friend. Both have been raised with home made compost with seamungus, dolomite and 10% perlite mixed in. Since flowering they get unsulphured molasses every few days...

Being in Northern NSW, I've also noticed pre-flowering in the past week. This is 2-3 weeks earlier than last year. Being an outside grow and the days duller than last year, I'm guessing the plants are reacting as if we have 12-13 hour days instead of the 14h 10m ones the bureau of meteorology is...

G'day folks. Been lurking and not posting - just learning with nothing to say. I got mostly sativa strain on the outside grow in 3x35 litre pots - popped on Oct 1. Very slow growth (compared to last year) to get going - lots of cloud, rain and uncharacteristic humidity as high as 90% RH on one...
