AC taking too long to cycle on.

My AC unit (traditional split unit) takes too long sometimes to cycle on. The Honeywell thermostat will flash "Cool On" for 3 or 4 minutes before turning on solid and the compressor and fan actually fire up. This is a time delay to protect the compressor I believe. This is creating large temp...

how to pump drain water from under rolling benches

I did buy that condensate pump I linked above. I am super happy with it. I clogged it up once the first day with some plastic shavings but it has been running good for over week now. It has 4 holes for I can hook up all my trays and my dehumidifier.

how to pump drain water from under rolling benches

oh hope someone can help me come up with a solution quickly for this issue.. I am using rolling benches and drain to waste. -12 inches off the ground (these are low benches. not much room under) each bench slides about 8 inches to each side, so location of flood drain/trays are moving.. I...

    review my ventilation system

cool, thanks ya i've never used multiple inline fans, inline... but i have a 10" and 12" floating around so i will consider using them.. I was looking at how the intake fans are kind of lined up to where they might be "fighting" each other for air... should i create some way of separating...

    review my ventilation system

I love the concept of pocket doors and wish i could make them work... but I am looking for strong sealing entry ways that can keep as much light and air from spillling as possible and I have had no luck getting that with pocket doors.

    review my ventilation system

having two intake fans pulling from the same space/window shouldn't be a problem? i would like to find a way to avoid heating during "lights off" something like exhausting veg room heat into flower room (instead of blowing outside) but i think there would be positive pressure issues? anything...

    review my ventilation system

just realized I could add a wall before the water tanks.. allowing access for the intake fans to window air.. and blocking light/air from entering water tank zone..

Closed Grow Environment / Traditional Room Hybrid

ok thanks those are interesting.. I will research them some more.. it says those panels are .06 inches thick.. that can't be right... I have decided I should use something with better insulation value than just panda film covering the insulated wood framed bays.. either sheetrock or these...

Closed Grow Environment / Traditional Room Hybrid

I guess you are suggesting that wall paneling? what is with the heat exchanger stuff? panel looks interesting.. I already have enough plywood to use on walls i might be leaning against.. besides some added insulation, structure and sound is there any reason just using panda would be a problem?

Closed Grow Environment / Traditional Room Hybrid

good point! but i actually will only be able to lean against one wall, i have some old plywood sheets, so i will use them on that wall.. and the other walls will be impossible to lean against as flood trays will be blocking them. thanks for pointing that out! my ceiling is already sheet...
