    Strange bug

Everyone had great answer, but I've come to the conclusion it is a Rove Beetle. Sadly I murdered our little friend who preys on thrips and fungus gnat larvae. Hopefully there are more.

    Strange bug

I thought it was a thrip, 2 or so months ago when i sprouted the seed. Caught one flying around a propogation dome just after cloning. Not thrips because the rear legs are too far back and i would have leaf damage by now. Any guesses? Its fox farm happy frog

No dehue but the humidity wasn't too high Yea that's my guess, not enough are movement around the buds. Still a large harvest if the rest pulls through

I have bud rot.. an extra fan in the tent would have been wise. Blowing on the buds to prevent mold. My RH was 55 so that's not terrible I think it would have been fine if I have an extra fan. I lost 5 huge top nugs. I could only hold 3 for the picture. Anyway I cut down that plant and will...

7.5 weeks flower and it smells dank. I defoilated a bit last week. There is a swarm of scaridae, maybe I'll use mites next time. It smells outside I should put on the carbon filter. The right plant wanted to be tall so I netted it in early flower. The left plant grew bushy naturally after...

Do you leave the driver on the lights?

Likely the first thing to fail will be the driver. Keeping it cool by removing it from the LED and maybe even going as far as putting a fan to it could make the light last longer. A couple of links to show the advertised lifespan of an LED is meaningless...

I just checked the marshydro website. They recommend 12-18 inches during flower. I'll lower it back down tonight

Growing couldn't be easier than this. It is now 18 inches away from the tallest cola. Not sure if I should lower it, most of the colas are between 21 - 24 inches away from the light. Seems a little far

It's about week 3 flower. I've defoliated and raised the light. Did some top dressimgband watered it in 2-8-4 gaia and some 4-4-4 gaia. Fungus Gnats are loving the soil, although the plant doesn't seem bothered by them. SIP is all too easy. Looks like a good start to bud development.

It amazes me everytime I see how fast these babies grow. I'll probably let them veg another month and then flip. I topped them and then supercropped them immediately after. Yes I know it was probably aggressive, just supercropping would have been enough and then I could have flipped sooner but...

To imitate those grassroots living soil pots everyone raves about. Living soil likes consistent moisture I hear, and regular fabric pots can create a less fertile zone around the edges. The net pot is filled with soil and sitting in the water. Acts as a wick, soaking water up into the container...

I went SIP. Same soil just took it from the bags and into my @myke tested SIP containers. I didn't figure out a float but I am thinking dip sticks to test. I only have so much time at home and didn't get around to creating a float check. Fly out tomorrow oh well. I'm just happy I get to grow...

Beauty. Do you re use soil? Looks like I won't be able to have a recycled living soil with roots like that in the water.

Nice and you just fill it with dirt at that point? So the medium is filling the net pots and that is the wick? I'd imagine the water would get pretty filthy after one cycle. But no mold or bad bacteria in the water? I have so many questions this just seems too good to be true
