Healthy branch suddenly snapped-jealous roommate or freak accident?

Ok so I came in to find my beautiful plant just two weeks away from harvest with a large, healthy branch just completely snapped off like somebody did a number on it. Any thoughts as to how this happened? Edit-yes I know about the pm...the fan had been turned off when a breaker popped, and...

Greetings! I've seen growers online that grow 3-4lbers and when they go to put their plants in the ground around May-June they look like they are about 36"-48" tall, maybe topped already and maybe not. How do you do yours? I would think if you could grow a nice bushy ball-shaped plant that's...

Light cycle for plants grown from seed?

Right on, I am planning on adding a shop light up the middle of the green house. Would you recommend keeping the light on during all dark hours, turn on intermittently, or just extending the daylight hours to get to 16-18?

Light cycle for plants grown from seed?

Ok so I figured it out- if I start at 18/6 and then begin to decrease the light hours by 15 minutes per week starting March 1st, by May 23rd I’ll be at 15/7 which mimics the outdoor cycle perfectly for my area, according to sunrise and sunset times data from 2020. The danger of frost should...

Light cycle for plants grown from seed?

As stated in the OP, I know that plants grown from clone require the synchronized light cycle. However, plants grown directly from seed don’t need it-or so I’ve heard....sort of like the seedlings one might purchase from a greenhouse for the spring or summer garden, notice they don’t all go into...

Light cycle for plants grown from seed?

So does anybody know if plants grown from seed need the light cycle synced with the natural outdoor light cycle before putting them outside (as clones do), or do the plants that are grown from seed know what to do? I’m trying to avoid them going into flower early and then re-vegging, then going...

How early can I plant auto flower seeds outdoors?

We can have 12 legally, so that’s how many I’m going for at a time. Just wondering if anybody has squeezed in 2 harvests in a single outdoor season? I’m doing feminized at my place, this is for a friend’s plot who is new to growing.

How early can I plant auto flower seeds outdoors?

Title says it all, I am in mid MI so I was thinking around May but I’ve read you can possibly get away with starting them earlier so you can get 2 harvests in one outdoor season. I’m also looking for good seed sources that ship within the US- I’ve had luck with Grower’s Choice company, but I’m...
