Best of luck. Make sure you got good insulation in that barn. I would frame new rooms and insulate them depending on the current level of insulation in the barn.

Let’s go! looks like you’ve fine tuned your craft my man! Thank you tremendously for the in depth response. Growers choice was 100% on my radar I just don’t think I mentioned it in original post. I will likely go with growers choice.

    200 amps

Electricity getting dropped Tuesday I’ll have to figure out how to get a thread dedicated to the progression of this hobby grow. Once panels in I’ll start wiring everything (mostly) @ 240 then time to get hvac in place, dehus, tables and lights! Trying to narrow down which led to go for...

First buildout I actually own can you double check my math and tell me if I’m nuts

Hey my mind & body is fried right now after spending all day running the chainsaw and chopping. Pretty much all I can do is sales and work around the property until I get my electrical service in which we all know can take some time. I plan on reading this and diving deeper in the AM over...

The a/c doesn’t remove much water at night though depending on what your nighttime temps are and your set point. it seems you think I’m way overkill in my sizing of A/C and Dehu ? Is that fair to say?

Awesome man, all this info really helps. It sounds like Our climates our very similar so it’s easier to compare as I am also in the northeast. 60 gallons a day with 170 pints Dehu seems a little under spec by my math. it sounds like you could have gone with 4 tons in the flower chamber to...

First buildout I actually own can you double check my math and tell me if I’m nuts

Note**** I can always dim down lights to desired ppfd & tbh didn’t like the idea of going over 700 watts. used to run fluence 630s and they were more than enough. I don’t like the trend of led brands coming out more and more with higher out of the wall draws. Was honestly thinking about giving...

What does your room need for water on a daily basis and what medium are you in? Also do you know roughly how many total watts or btus all equipment in your room is throwing on a daily basis? how well insulated would you say your room is? do you run into any environmental challenges or lack...

I’m definitely going to talk to my hvac guy on this, as much as I watch, listen & read I still can’t quite grasp this concept. I am co side ring ducting in my dehums though which will remove a significant amount of btus. Thoughts on that?

Roger that I’m gunna have to do more research on the reheat. I just don’t understand it but obviously I need to do a little more research. I’m sure an hvac guy as well installing the air handler would know. grrrrrr. I wanna just do mini splits but to many people and friendstelling me just get a...

Thank you! It’s going to take some time to build out but once it’s running it should be really fun and efficient.

Small plants, quick burn and turn. And yes some elbow grease. It’s more how big is the canopy than thinking in terms of how many plants I need to manage.

Yes I plan on dropping a new 200 amp service dedicated to this space. The logistics of getting the panel in and service applied are still being figured out. sealed room that I plan on just injecting co2 not burning gas.

Thank you for the response & yes if I have the time I will have to do a grow journal for the forum. I’ve run much larger facilities for various companies. Indoor & greenhouse. Most of the indoor facilities I have managed or consulted for I was not a part of the build out/engineering process...
