    Aeroponics accumulator tank charge

Ah - OK - I totally missed what you were doing. Sorry. I thought you were doing more of a low-pressure atomizer approach where there is no pressure on the water and just higher pressure air... That's what I'm looking at doing and still in search for a good air pump/compressor to help ensure...

    Aeroponics accumulator tank charge

Ok thanks. I just assumed that would need to be done almost hourly to be successful... I'll need to look into how much pressure is dropped over time. Is it daily pumping?

    Aeroponics accumulator tank charge

Hi @Nameuse and @redi jedi , I wonder what PSI he's getting at the nozzle? I'm also looking into higher pressure system but using a regulator to get it down to about 30psi... ideally hardly ever filling the tank. When you say you're using a regular pump for a car or hand pump... how often are...

aeroponics with oxygen tank for o2?

Just following up on this - I"m thinking about a similar solution but with Liquid Nitrogen... I figure that if I have a tank of liquid nitrogen, I won't need a pump at all and would (probably) only need to swap out the tank every 2-3 months. (TBC)... FWIW, there is a fair bit of research now...

    Aeroponics accumulator tank charge

Hi @namusae what kind of air pump are you using? I've been struggling to find something suitable - but to answer your question, most tanks should be fine... I'm using Co2 for the exact reason but its unlikely you're using enough pressure to make it a problem.

Air Pump Compressor for Aeroponics Air Atomizer

@Atomizer I've read alot of your threads, and you've seemingly have a similar setup. How effective is a hydrostatic test pump? Is that once a day or once a week kinda deal? Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Air Pump Compressor for Aeroponics Air Atomizer

Hi All, Hoping to have some advice on a suitable pump for my Air Atomizing Aeroponics system. Roughly my setup will be; 30 PSI air and syphoned water spraying every few minutes for a few seconds. I've got a D size Co2 Bottle I'll be using as an accumulator tank, party because it can take...

Welcome New Members! Read this before posting!

Hi All, New to the forum after reading for a few years - finally decided to jump in deep and build my own atomizer aeroponics system. I have two goals really: 1) get good crops that I can grow with minimal effort in a small space (I'm thinking residential balcony) 2) fully automate the system...
