    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Week 5 - Veggie 3 I have topped all three plants down to the third node. Nugbuckets recommends trimming away everything except for the two mains, but on 2 plants I have decided to retain the shoots directly at the node as well. Light is on 100% and has been so for three days. Distance was...

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Week 5 - Veggie 3 The plants are now 9, 10 and 12 cm tall. The light is at 60 %, sometimes at 80, and I got 4 nodes closely set on good stems. A few things went awry, though. For one thing, my room is too cold and the weather is refusing to cooperate. I'm using an infrared heating panel now...

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Whatever the cause, the discoloration has phased out except for one plant which has some weird marks on one leaf, not unlike those of leafminers. However, there are only two marks and I can find no other signs of bugs. Other than that, she is looking healthy, too. And that's pretty much of it...

is this normal? Hermie, pollinated or im Paranoid!

That seed-like thing is the ovary. It contains egg cells known as ovules. I guess one way of putting it would be to say that the pistil acts a bit like an antenna, receiving male pollen. It then transfers them to the ovules, one of which will develop into a seed.

is this normal? Hermie, pollinated or im Paranoid!

Those are female (pre-)flowers. Male flowers do not produce hairs (known as pistils). Especially early on, before the pistils emerge, the difference is sometimes hard to tell but fret not and wait, because even it it were male flowers, they are not ripe then. I'd also like to add that while it...

First “Guerilla Grow.” Suggestions for finding optimum locations?

I'd like to highly recommend Jorge Cervantes' Book on the topic. He tells you where to plant and what to do in basically any climate by describing one grow for each zone.

Are you going to scrog that dill? All is looking well but that Wedding Cheesecaker sure is a runner.I'm looking forward to seeing how she comes along.

Mainlining, between final top and flowering

That's the way I see it. You can sure ask the question but ask ten guys and get eleven answers. I think it's easy to overthink things here because we tend to have the notion that these are not living individuals but a sort of product that can be wholly understood and thus manipulated exactly as...

    Growing Mushrooms

The way I get it you look at the syringe and since you see nothing you take there's nothing in it. Be aware that spores are microscopic in size and that if you can see anything floating in the syringe those are clusters which are not bad but also not really what you're after because you want...

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Week 3 - Veggie 1 The 3 lasses have moved from their paper cups into 9 L pots. Until yesterday I thought they were coming along nicely despite me having some issues with low temperature and general underwhelming air quality in the dedicated room. Today, though, I noticed minor discoloring on...

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Week 2 - Germination 36 hours after the seeds got wet I witnessed the wonder of new life emerging from 2 of them. The last one followed suit that night. I decided to put them into paper cups and gave a bit of root juice yesterday. I now have three pretty uniform seedlings (4, 5 and 5.5 cm) and...

    Ventilation concerns in enclosed space

I mean, it really depends on the actual situation in the apartment and what you are going to achieve. Here is my current grow with the setup above: https://rollitup.org/t/small-space-durga-mata-ps-scrog.1085694/#post-17251859

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

Week 1 - Germination I use peat pellets to germinate my seeds. I let them soak in lukewarm water and while they do so I prepare my 9 L pots by filling them to the brink with soil. I then water those pretty well, so that the fluffy mix settles down a bit. The next day, I top up and repeat as...

    Small-space Durga Mata (PS) Scrog

This will be about my first turn in a SJ DP 90, a small (0.9 x 0.6 x 1 m / 2 x 3 x 3 ft roughly) tent originally intended for propagating cuttings but used by me for the entire grow. I write this journal because I think it might turn out helpful for people (mostly beginners) who, like me, have...

    Ventilation concerns in enclosed space

I don't live in an American apartment building and fortunately don't have any direct neighbours down the hall or the likes but there is another flat above me. However, the flat is really small and if I did my setup in the closet without any filtering (which I could not do without the tent...

    Ventilation concerns in enclosed space

Interesting idea, but the door is not 100% light-proof and even if I could fix that I'd be concerned about the smell. Hmm. I find it kinda hard to believe that this should be no problem whatsoever. Do you supply Co2?

    Ventilation concerns in enclosed space

Yeah, of course but I don't deem that a problem. I've been growing compact plants for more than a year now (in a Minigrow One) and I'm pretty sure I got it figured out. In that tent and with a better light (I ordered a Migro Aray 2) I will be able to do some good mainlining and true scrogs and...

    Ventilation concerns in enclosed space

Hi all, I live in a rather small apartment where I struggle to find a safe and well-conditioned space for my growing tent. Now I'm considering whether I should put the tent into my closet. This room, which is closed by a door, is roughly 4 x 4 feet, has basically no ventilation except for 2...
