i would recommend just buying the mh. I used a hortilux hps bulb 400 watts throughout my whole grow and it stretched alot of my plants. If u are going to spend the time growing, you should used the best of the best. Just my opinion tho.

thanks for the thread, it was very useful. I was having concerns with my setup. I have a two bedroom setup (I stay alone) with a 400 watt ups running 12/12 with two 120v fans that run 24/7. I also have clones under 80watts fluorescents.

What kind of bud are you growing?
