I was wondering if i could dip freshly germinated seedlings into rooting gel to facilitate faster root growth. Anyone know?

Hey guys, Im a first time grower and i was wondering if there were any techniques to make buds denser while growing under CFLs. My plant is about 26' inches tall and has been flowering for like 3 weeks. There are nice trichromes forming but the buds still look stringy.
