The actual growing space is 5' x 10' so it's 50 sf. I have 3- 1000w hps which put out approx. 140,000 lumens each, that's a total of 420,000 lumens in 50 sf which comes down to 8400 lumens /sf, it's damn near as bright as the sun in there!

From what I read it sounds like you'll be running 24- 5 gallon buckets. That will spread out quite a bit. I'm finding 3-1000w over 18 plants is a pretty good saturation, you may be stretching things a little with only 1-1000w.

I suggest you re-work your math for the water capacity, I believe you'll be using much more than 46 gallons in a pool that is 6' x 6'. Consider: there are 7.7 gallons in a cubic foot, so 46 gallons would take up 5.974 cf. Placing 5.974 cf in an area of 36 sf will only cover that area to a...
