why dont you prefer them? they some much more convienent with the simple fact you dont have to ph adjust them and all you have to do is soak them in water for 5 min.

I have a 400w hps/mh conversion and I was wondering what are some of the safety hazards of the ballast? Also, where is the best place to put the ballast if you dont plan to mount it on the wall or hang it up? any advice would be great, thanks
