What the $@!T IS this from!

Test your runoffs ph and ppm/ec. That'll tell you most everything you need to know to diagnose those issues. If you don't have the tools to measure you can start doing some good old fashioned side by sides and see what they respond to. If you don't mind, take a closer pic of a single fan leaf...

    flowering under 24/7

Switch to 18/6 or 20/4. 24/0 causes some weird multi-symptoms to happen; usually resembling some sort of heat stress or over/under watering. A lot of root growth and cell division happens in the dark period as well.

My Beautys, what do you think?

It's pretty gross but a feed made of water+neem+tobacco juice really does wonders for bug control. Tobacco kills any bugs in the soil and the neem is taken up systemically. Using this in combination with bi weekly sprays I've been able to keep the spider mites at bay here in inland empire (...

My Beautys, what do you think?

I like the setup, nice and clean and organized! Man.... one of these days I'm gonna have some land I can dig and plant in like that. You don't get that in pots =/

    Smart Pots outside- how large?

Those 200 gallons are nice, I've been thinking about running them next year. Kinda like a pop up raised bed! 1 plant per seems kinda overkill. 2 per is what I was thinking about going with. I just can't imagine how big the plants would get with all that room to run.

    Ants killed my plants!!!

Maybe it had more to do with being lazy. Anybody can ask a question on a forum and blindly follow the responses. In effect absolving themselves of the burden of having to do research and formulate their own ideas based their findings. Which of course leads them to regurgitating the same bad...

    Too Late?

it's all about learning how to manipulate your girls to get them into the position and shape you want them in. Every garden is different.

    Too Late?

Topping in combination with lollipopping ( lower plant pruning ) brings most of the foliage to an even upper level, not as much of the plant is blocking itself. Giving you more overall light coverage where it matters most. Topping is great as a tool for maximizing light efficiency.

    My first grow Socal Style!!

You don't need A LOT but you do need more than is traditionally packed into pot-specific nutes. Especially during the stretch in early flowering. Their needs shift from nitrogen to PK over the course of flowering, not immediately. I've seen way too many people ruin their yields over and over...

    My first grow Socal Style!!

I've done a few, this is my fourth cycle. So a little over a year. The hydro shops piss me off if you can't tell! I only go in there for things I can't find anywhere else. PH calibrating solution and such. Louies nursery off of the 215/newport has a pretty good stock surprisingly. The owners on...

    My first grow Socal Style!!

I'm in the area myself, get ready for the crazy heat wave. Don't forget to start watering more often! edit: Knowing you're in the area, and the hydro shops we have available. I have an extra piece of advice, avoid them like the plague. Everything is wayyy over priced, and they'll try to sell...

    Liquid Fertilizing Question

give them all grow big, start around 1 tsp per gallon. Give them the big bloom with it as well, 1 tablespoon per gallon, work your way up to doubling them both over a couple of weeks.

how long for signs of budding to appear.

They stretch mostly for the first couple of weeks, you'll see some hairs probably in the next few days. Small buds will start forming 2nd or third week. All of this depends on strain of course.
