you defenitly need some air circulation in there, at least just use an old computer fan rigged up to a transformer or a 9v (if the fan is 9v) although you probably could run a 12v computer fan off a 9v as far as i know anyway. if im wrong someone let me know please?

if you find that your plant is growing too tall too fast then the answer might be lack of light, or your light might not be close enough. plants grow tall quickly like that when they are seeking light.

i have also heard that. roots are very fragile and anything from too much light exposure to clumsy hands can damage and kill the tiny hairs that are on the roots
