I think you might be able to pull a clone off if you do it soon, as long as its indoors, but make sure to take an actual node because those fan leaves can deceive you

Well if they would be equal wattage id go for the t5's but if the hps is gonna be a couple hundred watts more, then definately use that. It may stretch a little, but you'll see a significant amount of more/faster growth

What about water curing just the buds with the dirt problem? Would it hurt potency? Taste for these buds would be an afterthought as im sure they'll taste worse with ffof mixed in

If you choose to mix just make sure you dont use a full dose of each as that might be too much. Use a half dose of each of the nutrients
